Small thing, Big diffrences

A gift from a friend from Vietnam.

I guess, everyone knows Vietnamese coffee. Vietnam is among the world coffee producer. Starbucks is the principal buyer of the Vietnamese coffee crop, mainly because it is predominantly Robusta and hence so cheap.

Coffee can be brewed in several different ways, but these methods fall into four main groups depending upon how the water is introduced to the coffee grounds. If the method allows the water to pass only once through the grounds, the resulting brew will contain mainly the more soluble components (including caffeine), whereas if the water is repeatedly cycled through the beans (as with the common percolator), the brew will contain more of the relatively less soluble compounds found in the bean; as these tend to be more bitter, that type of process is less favored by coffee aficionados.

Water temperature is crucial to the proper extraction of flavor from the ground coffee. The recommended brewing temperature of coffee is 93 °C (199.4 °F). Any cooler and some of the solubles that make up the flavor will not be extracted. If the water is too hot, some undesirable elements will be extracted, adversely affecting the taste, especially in bitterness.

This is drip brew method. In this form, hot water is allowed to drip though a metal mesh into a cup, and the resulting strong brew is poured into a glass containing sweetened condensed milk which may contain ice. Due to the high volume of coffee grounds required to make strong coffee in this fashion, the brewing process is quite slow.

Paradox of Time

Today we have bigger houses and smaller families
More conveniences but less time...

We Have More degrees, but less common sense
More knowledge but less judgment...

We have more experts, but more problems
More medicine but less wellness...

We spend too recklessly, Laugh too little
Drive too fast, Get to angry too quickly

Stay up too late, Read too little
Watch TV too much, And pray too seldom..

We multiplied our possessions, but reduce our values
We talk too much, love too little and lie too often...

We’ve learned how to make living, but not a life
We’ve added years to life, not life to years

We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers
Wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints

We spend more, but have less, We buy more but enjoy it less

We’ve been all the way to the moon and back
But have trouble crossing the street to meet our neighbors.

We’ve conquered outer space,But not inner space
We’ve split the atom but not our prejudice

We write more, learn less, plan more but accomplish less
We’ve learn to rush but not to wait, We have higher incomes but lower morals

We build more computers to hold more information & to produce more copies
But have less communications

We are long on quantity, But less in quality

These are the time of fast foods and slow digestion,
Tall men and short character

More leisure and less fun, more kinds of foods but less nutrition
Two incomes but more divorce, Fancier houses but broken homes

That’s why I propose, that as of today ,you do not keep anything for special occasion, because every day you live is a special occasion.

Search for knowledge, read more, sit on your front porch and admire the view without paying attention to your needs.

Spend more time with your family and friends , eat your favorite foods,
and visit the places you love .

Life is a chain of moment of enjoyment, not only about survival.

Use your crystal goblets, do not save your best perfume, and use it every time you feel you want it.

Remove from vocabulary phrases like “ one of these days “ and “ someday
Let’s write that letter we thought of writing “ one of these days “

Let’s tell our families and friends how much we love them.
Do not delay anything that adds laughter and joy to your life .

Every day , every hour , and every minute is special.
And you don’t know if it will be your last.

Speed up your life

plants in the bottle....to speed up the multyplying and growing process, we grow them in the bottle. Fast, easy and cost effective. How do we speed up our learning process in life? Make friends...

Bridge of our life

Occasionally, we have to cross into another stage of your life. Moving from good place into a better place. Move quickly and carefully, otherwise you might fall

the instant office in the coffea shop. The guys are scrutinizing proposal paper and make sure the profit is sky high ..Is't that's the way it works? Picture taken in Kuala Terengganu which no Starbuck can be founded. So this is 'Terengganu Starbuck'

Ponder

Emmm....how i could contribute more to life and share the moment with other people? Why the weather so gloomy today? WHois that guy taking the picture? What the heck i'm thinking about?

...relax and enjoy...

Sometimes, in this fast pace moving lifestyle, it's good to stop for awhile and enjoy the moment...go somewhere we never been before, especially into the serenity of the nature. This picture was taken in Sg Berkelah, Maran, Pahang.
